Scrambled eggs with french toast

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • pinch of salt if desired
  • pepper
  • 7 tbsp of semi‐skimmed milk
  • 4 slices bread
  • pepper
  1. French toast:
  2. Beat egg, milk, pepper and salt together in a shallow bowl.
  3. Dip the slices of bread in the egg mixture.
  4. Fry in hot oil until they are golden brown.
  5. Drain on kitchen paper
  6. Scrambled eggs:
  7. Break the eggs into a shallow bowl and beat well with a fork.
  8. Heat the oil in a saucepan then add the milk, pepper and salt.
  9. Add the beaten eggs and stir over a moderate heat until mixture is
  10. thick and creamy.
  11. Do not cook for too long or it will curdle.
  12. Serve on hot toast.
